i went and got all girly
my mom is buying me a new bed, mattress and sheets and all that. the bed frame is ordered, the mattress i pick up tommorrow, but the sheets, quilt and featherbed i got today.
a secret that not many people know about me is that i love tastefully done embroidery. absolutely love it. so, today i was at the store looking around at stuff.. i decided that comforters were passe and looked at quilts and throws. i finally saw one that i loved.
see this? its embroidered. and see that thing that is covering the pillow? thats a sham.. and then that little pillow? goodness, its a little green thing with embroidered flowers.
*sigh* my inner housewife is coming out.. and you know what? i love it.
really. i need to find a partner. really. i need to find one that wants a child. really. i want to be one of those activist moms. that way i can help change the world, be a mom, and do things like find matching shams and pillows.
