tired..
i'm tired of all this war stuff..... so you know what i'm gonna do today? well, after i take a bath? i'm gonna go to the goodwill and start my baby hope chest.
yes, i want to have a baby someday. i see mothers with babies and my heart melts. i have dreams in which i am pregnant and then give birth, and those dreams-- they are some of the best dreams i have. so, yes, i want to be a mom.
did y'all know that i'm good with babies? i worked in a nursery for awhile where sometimes i had 5 babies to take care of at a time. i learned a lot. i learned that i'm good at taking care of them. and i learned that i love them.
i know that there is a big difference between just taking care of a baby and having my own child, so thats why i'm gong to wait until i've got my mental health under control. and thats why i'm going to be a foster mother first. yes, saying that i want to be a mom is not something i take lightly.
so, my baby hopechest. the other day i was with my friend randy and we got to talking about the momma thing and she mentioned a hopechest. i think its a wonderful idea. starting to buy now baby things for when i do have a baby.
and you know what? it'll get my mind off war. it'll put my mind on my own future, which i plan to fill with my own love for a child.

hello women--
interesting site--has anyone ever read Branda Euland? (I might be spelling her last name incorrectly..) She's the best-a woman ahead of her time. Wrote an excellent piece on listening.
I'm checking out the Eugene area-thinking of moving there. Used to live up near Portland. My sister lives in Lincoln City-friends in Ashland. What is Eugene like? Surrounding area?

Babies babies babies... I want one so much. And it so isn't the right time right now, but I so wish it was.
That hopechest idea seems wonderful - I may do so myself. It'd spread the cost if nothing else, which has to be a good thing.
