[Previous entry: "questions about deconstructing racism.."] :: [Next entry: "one last thing.."] 06.01.2001 yes dori, you are right.. dori talks about the wise women list and how she solved the problems of off-topic posts... and i must concurr, as a quiet member of the list for awhile, the solution of creating the wise talk list has solved the problem wonderfully.. i've recently left another list because of the proflieration of off-topic posts.. it just got too much for me.. and no one wanted to deal with the problem.. maybe they didn't see it as a problem? maybe those women don't get tons of email from a variety of lists dealing with subjects from web design to the wnba to all sorts of activism.. anyhow, i really appreciate the thoughtfulness that went into solving the problems on the wise women list.. and in the end no one got their toes stepped on and the community was able to move forward with its mission..
