getting ridiculous

we've been under denial of service attacks here at work since monday. at first it was discombobulating.. then it was funny.. now its just pissing me off. dunno how long i'll stay on at a time. try to work, try to do my normal "how's everybody doing?" as far as weblogs, try to read news.. even try to correspond with wisewomen- my women's weblist.. can do it for a bit, but then, gone. the network is gone. we're under attack once again. apparently the fucker has some sort of program going that attacks us every so many minutes. yes, we have a wonderful group of network engineers working on the problem. in fact they were here until midnight last night dealing with it. but the point is is that someone is being a fucker and its getting annoying. i never know when i'll be cut off next. grrrrr. in fact, there it goes again.. we'll see when this post actually gets posted.
